About the practitioner
Hello!
Maribeth D’Ercole, FNP-BC, is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, ICBCH clinical hypnotherapist, CDC-sanctioned lifestyle management coach, Mindfulness & Cancer trained group facilitator and a university lecturer whose work is informed by both clinical training and lived experience.
Having navigated cancer herself, Maribeth brings a grounded and compassionate understanding of what it means to move through uncertainty, stress, and deep life transitions.
Through The Still Room, she offers a space for nervous system support, reflection, and meaningful change - blending evidence-based approaches with a more intuitive, human-centered way of healing.
At the core of her work is a belief that many of us are living at a pace that our bodies were not designed to sustain. She gently encourages a return to slower rhythms - creating small, intentional pauses throughout the day, reconnecting with nature, and stepping away from the constant pull of stimulation and urgency. She believes this foundation will pave the way for habit change, stress reduction and a more meaningful approach to life.
Her work is especially focused on helping people reconnect with their bodies, regulate stress, and create lives that feel more spacious and aligned.
Outside of her professional roles, Maribeth is a wife, mother of young children, traveler with backpacker roots, who continues to find personal growth in stillness, nature and the quieter moments that are often hardest to access in the midst of modern life.
